Frequently Asked Pollinator Questions

How does funding work?

You can fund a Garden in full or contribute any amount toward the funding target. Multiple Pollinators can fund the same Garden, and each receives a certificate proportional to their share. Funding is held in escrow until the work is validated.

What do I actually get when I fund a Garden?

When you fund a Garden, you acquire a certificate representing the verified societal benefit produced by the completed work. The certificate is issued in your name and reflects your share of the funding.

What if the Garden doesn't get fully funded?

If a Garden does not reach its funding target or a Cultivator does not post an offer to the Garden, all respective pollinators receive a credit to their account, which they can redeem towards another garden.

What if the work doesn't meet the standard?

If a Cultivator's submission doesn't meet the Garden's completion requirements, the FLhour team reviews the dispute and may issue a credit. You will not receive a certificate for work that wasn't validated.

Does FLhour verify that the work was done?

Cultivators submit before-and-after photos as the primary proof of completion. Depending on the Garden type, timer logs and location check-ins may also apply. All evidence is reviewed before a certificate is minted.

Do I need to download the app as a Pollinator?

No. Pollinators fund Gardens and manage their certificates through the FLhour website. The app is the field tool for Cultivators.
